The Toasty dating project was just too beautiful, sensible, and fair to survive in the modern age of dating apps. Such an amazing application simply could not survive under the oppression of the big technology companies that rule the digital landscape now. Although incomplete, Toasty contained features that were leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. It offered an incredibly unique and safe way to meet others looking for long-term relationships without all the advertising, pay-wall, and data harvesting cruft. It destroyed the shallow action of swiping profiles and replaced it with something far deeper. Perhaps it was just ahead of it's time.
